The couple – who share Prince Christian of Denmark, 19, and Princess Isabella, 17 – grinned from ear to ear as they were photographed strolling through Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
For the first part of today’s engagement, the royals arrived at Christian VII’s Palace in Amalienborg to greet the Supreme Court Judges, the Royal Life Guards, and the Guard House Regiments.
As the day continued, the pair were then whisked away so they could attend a second reception was for the Diplomatic Corps at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
It comes after the Danish royals were spotted dressed to the nines as they hosted the Royal Family’s annual New Year’s dinner for the first time, putting on a fairytale like soiree.
The Australian-born mother-of-four commanded attention in a bottle green floor-length gown, featuring a lace neckline and sleeves as well as cinched waist to showcase her enviable figure.

With her hair pinned into a half-up, half-down style, Mary looked picture perfect as she stood next to her husband, 56, who wore a military outfit for the lavish occasion.
They were joined by their dashing son Crown Prince Christian; the 19-year-old put on a handsome display in white tie as he made what is thought to be his first appearance at the event.
The guestlist also included Princess Benedikte, 80, and the Danish King’s brother Prince Joachim, who attended with his stunning wife Princess Marie at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.
Last year, Queen Margrethe, 84, announced her shock abdication in her New Year’s Eve address to the nation, marking the end of her era as Europe’s longest-serving monarch.
She hosted that year’s gala before her son succeeded her as the country’s monarch on January 14, 2024.
Although it was now Mary and Frederik’s turn to host the New Year’s dinner, Margrethe was still on hand at this evening’s event, stepping out in a vibrant blue gown.
Holding onto a walking stick, the former monarch sported a glittering tiara and a statement fur coat as she arrived at the royal occasion.
Her sister Princess Benedikte looked equally dazzling in a tiara, purple dress, pearl necklaces and a white fur shawl.

The royal appeared to be in high spirits as she posed next to her husband, King Frederik and their four children, Prince Christian, park Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
She opted for a chic winter ensemble, donning a cream turtleneck jumper and chose to wear her brunette tresses down in a wavy blow-dry.
Her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe, was also included in the heartwarming photograph.
The former monarch put her best fashion foot forward, donning a pink and grey tartan patterned jacket, olive green jumper and maxi skirt, along with a pair of black chunky loafers.
