It had a gigantic TV and i’m talking like 8 feet long — this TV was quite serious. The bar had hardwood floors and scarlet walls. They’d some great beer specials that day as well so we lucked elsewhere. We ordered some food and sipped our drinks enjoying the last day in The big City.
This little beach bar is nicely tucked in the far end of Ao Nang beach so all others is not as bad as those in the centre of the beach. It plays soft music in the background and people usually go there for an abandoned night inside. The Last Fisherman Bar wouldn’t have live music so don’t expect loud and blaring music. They serve great Thai food, energy drinks, smoothies and then a great associated with cocktails, which are not very over priced.
Before we left town for good we had time quit by a jazz bar called the “Blue Note”. It was one of the highest jazz bars I’ve attended in the earth and for any jazz fans, I recommend it high. It was at about half or even more capacity while too crowded, decorated beautifully and the featured musicians blew our minds!
Now NEP is some off of any major street called Sukhumvit and there are a lot of hotels along this particular area. One hotel that I really recommend is the Majestic Grande Hotel.
